RENO, NEVADA — Wallace MacDonald Holdings (WMH) is proud to announce a strategic partnership with Turner Construction Company, one of the world’s most respected construction management firms, to lead preconstruction and construction of the Quantum X project at WMH’s Nevada Technology Campus. Located on a 1,141-acre greenfield site near Highway 50, just 30 miles east of Reno and 7 minutes from Fernley, the Quantum X integrated photovoltaic (PV) manufacturing complex will produce ingots, wafers, cells, and modules—setting a new standard for American clean energy production.

Turner’s unmatched experience managing large-scale, advanced manufacturing and technology projects positions them as the ideal partner to bring WMH’s vision of a high-impact, sustainable innovation campus to life.


A Proven Leader in Complex Infrastructure

With more than 120 years of construction excellence, Turner Construction has delivered iconic projects such as the Golden 1 Center for the Sacramento Kings and the San Diego International Airport Expansion. Their portfolio spans data centers, semiconductor fabs, and renewable energy campuses—making them uniquely qualified to execute the Quantum X Solar Campus.

Turner will oversee critical components of Phase I, including:

  • 5 GWp Ingot Wafer Building

  • Cell Building

  • Module Building

  • Central Utility Building

  • Bulk Gas Yard

  • Electrical Yard


Their integrated approach combines master planning, construction execution, and risk mitigation to ensure Quantum X meets WMH’s ambitious performance, environmental, and operational benchmarks.
